• Profile information: scholar profiles may include display name, bio, specialty, credentials, and a profile photo.
• Content you create: questions you ask, answers and posts scholars publish, comments, and likes.
• Payment information: paid questions, fatwa requests, and video sessions are processed through Razorpay. We do not store your full card or bank details on our servers; Razorpay handles payment data securely.
• Usage data: device and interaction data used to improve the app and provide analytics.

How we use your information

• To deliver questions to the scholar you addressed them to and to show you their answers.
• To display scholar profiles, posts, and answered questions in the feed.
• To process payments and, for scholars, to calculate and pay out earnings.
• To send notifications about questions, posts, and account activity.
• To moderate content, enforce our rules, and keep the community safe.

Who can see your data

Your questions and their answers are visible to you and to the scholar you asked. Public posts and answered questions may be visible to other users of the app. Scholar profiles are public. Administrators can access records to operate and moderate the platform.

Data retention

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the app's settings, which removes your questions, follows, and personal credentials.

Third-party services

We use Razorpay for payments and payouts. Their handling of your payment data is governed by their own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, manage notifications, and delete your account from within the app. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, contact us at support@askmufti.online.
